Peter Hofmann — Founder of PHO-Consulting

Resilience. Security. Future. Welcome to PHO-Consulting. My name is Peter Hofmann. For more than 30 years I have worked on resilience, business continuity management, information security, governance, crisis management, enterprise architecture and organisational transformation.

At a time of growing complexity, regulatory requirements and technological change, I help companies to keep risks manageable, strengthen structures for the long term and build future viability in a targeted way.

My professional background

I spent a significant part of my career at Computacenter AG & Co. oHG, one of Europe's leading IT service providers and integration partners. There I held senior and advisory roles for many years and was responsible for national and international projects in the following areas:

• Transformation of complex organisational structures

I worked with companies from a wide range of sectors, including: banks and financial services providers, insurers, industrial companies, critical infrastructure (KRITIS), public-sector clients, and defence & aerospace.

Over the course of my career I have developed a large number of my own methods, models and frameworks, which now form the basis of my consulting services. These include:

These experiences and in-house developments allow me to offer consulting that goes far beyond the mere application of standards while remaining pragmatic, understandable and actionable.

Experience in governance and co-determination

Alongside my many years of consulting, I have extensive practical experience in employee co-determination. Since 2010 I have been a member of various works council bodies, including the works council, the central works council, the remuneration committee, the personnel committee (as spokesperson) and the economic committee.

My focus areas included negotiation, governance structures, organisational development, standardisation of works agreements, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, working models, AI governance and change management. Among other things, I played a key role in developing company-wide rules on the use of artificial intelligence.
